Mike Cook, of Cook’s Marine Service, started his company in boat repair in Shady Side, Maryland while he was in his twenties. He ran the business successfully until 2017 when he finally decided it was time to retire—over forty years later.

Steve, the youngest of his four boys, saw this as an opportunity to start his own company: SC on the Bay, a full service mobile marine repair company. Steve, who had been working for his father for the past decade, had a vision of his future and knew this was the path he was ready to take. With the addition of some pivotal employees, we are prepared to take on any job that comes our way in a timely and affordable manner in the South County area.
